about
I was inspired to write a song in memory of my cousin, Joey Rhea Wolfe, who sadly passed away a few months ago. I had been playing around with the main melody for awhile, but I was stuck trying to turn it into a song. One day I decided to search for an old movie dialogue, to see if anything would sound cool on the track. The second video I played was the scene from "Shane, Come Back!" where the lone ranger, Shane, is speaking with the little boy, who happened to be named Joey. Shane had to move on to another town, but Joey wanted him to stay. For me, that was a sign and all the motivation I needed to complete this track. Although Joey could not stay on this Earth with us, he will forever remain in our hearts. May his sweet soul rest in peace <3

lyrics
Joey, there's no going back
there's no going back
now you run on home to your mother
and tell her
tell her everything's alright
tell her everything's alright
tell her everything's alright
there aren't any more guns in the valley
Joey, there's no going back
there's no going back
now you run on home to your mother
and tell her
tell her everything's alright
